St James
St Peter & St Paul

Chipping Warden Banbury
01295660639

The Parish Church of Chipping Warden is dedicated to St Peter and St Paul. It stands next to another local land mark know as the Steps; this marks the site of the medieval market place and once held the market cross.

Externally, it is an impressive church as befits what was a large market town, but the internal aspect is more than worth a view!

The pews are 18th century and are in raised tiers at the west end. Together with the stained glass window and the etched window in the tower (dedicated to those who served at the local wartime airfield), St Peter & St Paul's makes a wonderful backdrop to any service, especially a wedding service.
